Absolutely brilliant course. To be honest I was hesitating for quite some time before booking it, I wasn’t sure whether it is for me, I was thinking maybe I will be the only one without experience in massage therapy and everyone else around me will be professionals. And let’s face it – it is a lot of money that you pay. But now, after finishing certificate course, I can tell you one thing – it was worth every penny! There were people from different backgrounds, some experienced, some not so much. The way Dave is teaching will be appealing to everyone, whether you are completely new to massage or if you have years and years of experience. Every day was better and better, it was amazing to witness how fast people were progressing. This course doesn’t just bring you knowledge, it also brings confidence and motivation!
I completed the Diploma course with an awesome group of people and trainers in January. Dave is a fantastic teacher; Down to earth, realistic yet professional. I gained fantastic practical skills and knowledge in relation to different techniques, tension bands and how Raynor massage can promote both physical and emotional healing. There is also a big emphasis on correct posture/stance and how to avoid injury to yourself when giving massage which I feel is important to note. Furthermore, I learned basic marketing skills which I am now looking to build on as well as utilise ongoing support opportunites that are available following the course.
For me, Dave’s course has given me so much more than the qualification itself. It has given me a drive, energy and confidence to start my own business which I am in the process of.
